Arlington East - Bethesda, Md

Arlington East, the last component of a multi-parcel redevelopment by Federal Reality Investment Trust (FRIT) in downtown Bethesda, Maryland, is a 180-unit apartment building with first floor retail. The project, designed by Torti Gallas CHK, is to be built along an active street where FRIT's "Bethesda Row" has become emblematic of vibrant new cityscapes. Only a few hundred feet from the Bethesda Metro (subway) station, the project will include some 25 units of affordable housing and hide an existing parking garage.
